What's Happening in Falls Church?

Eden Center will not be redeveloped for now, but the surrounding area will develop with new retail stores, housing, and offices in the next 10 years. There will also be major road construction in Seven Corners to improve safety in the next 5 years. As the neighborhood changes, Viet Place Collective has advocated to ensure that the City of Falls Church will support our Vietnamese-owned small businesses. Let’s make sure the City of Falls Church keeps their promises to our community!

We're working towards:

  • Funding anti-displacement programs to preserve and protect small, Vietnamese businesses
  • Investing in the public infrastructure surrounding Eden Center, improving parking and safety
  • Creating a Cultural District around Eden Center called “Little Saigon”
  • Honorary renaming of Wilson Blvd to Saigon Blvd
  • Public Art surrounding Eden Center, by Vietnamese artists, for the Vietnamese community
